His real name is Antonello De Ambrosi and he is a captain of boats in one of the maritime cities with the oldest history: Chioggia.

Passionate about art, especially sculpture, but best known with his artistic nickname "Da Chioggia" for his origin and for his love for the Adriatic city.

Antonello entirely dedicates his free time to building works of art created exclusively with recycled materials, giving them new life and a new meaning.

Antonello's tiny workshop overlooks one of the canals of Chioggia and is covered with his works, even entirely filling the ceiling. Works of any kind, wooden sculptures, paintings made of materials such as plastic, fabric filaments or plastic materials and glass.
