The Caffé Florian turned 300 years old on the 29th December 2020.
There was also lockdown in Venice and therefore the big anniversary celebration could not take place. The Venetians are very found to the Caffé Florian and this is the reason why we staged a small birthday party.
29th December 2020, the Caffè Florian is 300 years old
The police generously overlooked the five old Venetian ladies who set up 2 little tables in front of the cafe in order to pay homage to "Florian".
Unfortunately, nobody could say what will happen in the near future to this very old and worldwide famous Caffé in St. Mark's Square.
