Summer day in the island of Giudecca

Beautiful panorama from the island of Giudecca

The good thing about the island of Giudecca, especially during the hot summer days, is that it faces north, therefore most part of the island in in shade. The place depicted in this photo is one of the few open spaces and this woman was enjoying the little breeze from the west.

What I liked the most in this case was the composition made by the vertical lamp on the left, the diagonal of the bridge, and the horizontal lines of the path and of the canal.
