Shabbat morning in Venice
The Jewish Ghetto of Venice is one of the oldest in the whole world. Founded in 1516, it still now welcomes the activities of the Jewishs resident in Venice and from abroad too.
Saturday is an interesting day because during their “Shabbat” they meet in the Synagogues and I like to see and to photograph the streets and the squares (Campi) of the Ghetto on that particular day.
The back light in this passage (Sotoportego, in Venetian) produced this contrast light/shadow, that looks very much like an arrow.
